OVERALL OPINION
I've been using this mic for about one year for most of my recordings. For the time being I'm very satisfied with it and I think it does a pretty good job, especially considering its price: it's unbeatable! For that I give it 8/10.
I used Neumann mics a very long time but you always have to keep things within context. For DAW applications in home studio, this mic will fit all your needs perfectly. If you want to play in the major leagues you'd better buy something better.
The mic is provided in a rugged plastic case which is very convenient when you need to transport it. At first sight the mic seems to be sturdy except for the very cheap connector. It's annoying if you have to connect and disconnect it for each recording session.
The mic sounds quite good and recordings will blend seamlessly in your mixes without having to overprocess them! To wrap it up, buy it if you want a good and affordable mic!
And don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like to listen to recordings made with this mic.
