OVERALL OPINION
I have been using PRS two years, I bought it for his report qualitprix.
This microphone is dynamic and incisive trs. Peak labeled prsence trs. It gives the impression of a sound recording trs closer, "in your face." Perfect to bring out a voice track.
It is quite difficult to use: a bit whimsical, it is sensitive to the TRS investment. It may be capable of the best and the worst. For better, you really take the time to tame.
Today I replaced by an AKG C414, but even when I keep ...
The AKG is much more soft and "silky" in comparison, easier to use. I am obliged to qualiser bcp to get the same "prsence" as C1.
I like the personality of the C1, I use it less now because of his cot capricious, and sometimes treble the ferry (a little "hard", sometimes lacks finesse).
No regrets: report quality price is excellent. Trs a good mic, but not a micro forcment for beginners. A couple with pramp. who in the sweetness.
