Micro transistor. Use for home studio beginner.
Used in folk guitars, percussion, clarinet, harmonica, acoustic bass.
OVERALL OPINION
I have this mic for over a year. At the very beginning I was really pleased with the results that could offer this microphone. Normally, before I had at my disposal a SM58, then the difference between a static and a dynamic was obvious. When I received it was the revolution in my more modest home studio!
But then, gradually we become more demanding and it perceives shortcomings of this microphone, bass and low mids are very rough, the highs seem to be extinct. In short, I do not at all the results on my folk guitar (I do not even speak the clarinet). Since I bought an Oktava MK012, bein there's no picture! On the acoustic guitar completely outclasses Oktava Tbone! There's only harmonica I think the Tbone does not too bad.
Of the songs, you really tamper with the EQ to get a correct result. But in the end it still lacks terribly hot and precision.
I agree that given the price of one microphone can not ask for the moon. I think this is an excellent compromise for money for those starting out in a home studio so I put him just average. But if you ever have the means, it is better to save a little more ch'tit for something more appropriate (Oktava, Audio Technica, AKG214 ,...), without either having to enter and ruin the top range.
I do not do it again this election.
