Micro chant static phantom power supply, see other opinions.

OVERALL OPINION

Received Friday from Thomann in Germany (sent one week, sturdy packaging, delivery perfect). Small problem: lack of documentation. mas is a good micro ... We would like to know just what to avoid (at the phantom power supply, etc ... and they should say that we should not fiddle about with the switch in shape while it is plugged in: it's been the holy crackles ...).

Otherwise accurate sound across the spectrum. I'm pretty amazed for a microphone in this category. Before I recorded with microphones shure dynamic (SM, beta). The difference is obvious, for a comparable price. Quite sensitive to pressure. Anti-pop is necessary and do not stand too close to the voice.
The high pass filter is a bit wild for my taste and somewhat distorts the sound. I prefer to use an EQ after.

This seems to be indeed a clone of the SE 3300A 530E sold instead of 166 for this one. Do not get it ... Declawing is the effect of probably ... Or is the model of the previous year?

I recommend this mic for home studio with no problem. Then for users more pros, I do not know if it's worth a Neuman, but the ratio Q / P is amazing.
