For me, the MIDI has never failed me because I used it in the pedals alone.
UTILIZATION
Trs simple setup, grip in 5 minutes to play / record a phrase, etc. add an overdub.
on the other hand, a little more time to get used is Necessary for the device, rgler levels, and the dpart / stop / start loops and overdubs in rhythm. But nothing too violent.
Manuel trs clear and Franais.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound loops registered is not exactly the sound between the pedals (Sampling requires too low), and we must be careful at the (rapid saturation in between) when recorded phrase. There is a loss of level and sound quality when recording. That's enough for use at home to work, but rptition on scne or in the studio it becomes more dlicat.
I used this with a bass pedals.

I utlise little in the end!
What I like most is to store phrases, ideas, and rebosser later able to run and play grid over ...
I have not tried other models of this kind.
The ratio quality price is right if it was the usefulness of such pedals.
I sold it long ago. I would, a looper can be one day but not the forcment RC20XL, I would look to have a device that restores a little better the sentences registered, because for me c'tait teachers and limited use of the pedals my apartment ...
