Today I have 85 tracks in memory, all with at least 3 layers per track and a hard ranging between 10 seconds and 2 minutes, and I can always continue recording, so really very autonomy of memory.

USE

Very simple to use, provided that we give 10 minutes of her time reading the manual and many tour the possibilities.

I love this pedal, but it all depends on the use that is made. As evoked in other opinions, you just forget intensive use live if we want to have fun changing track every 3 minutes for it is galre (unless you record the intgralit the song on a same track of course)

I mostly use it as a tool to build solo riffs, find ideas and memorize, and it has gnial.

When I'm using it in a group, it is to wedge a line or a rhythm that I can cut, enrich or raise will.

It is much more user-friendly and intuitive as the RC3 (my way) and for connecting a mic in fantom, which use it normment.

It is not intended to be a pace bote but the possibility to connect a footswitch to turn dye the beat really would go further on the use of the machine live




SOUND QUALITY

I do not understand the notice that the pedal ruin the sound quality ...

If the branch on a single channel with the beat lamps Switch-on that's for sure that this is not jojo but seems empty. See my video (o I live branch on a sound card), the sound is not dnatur all. On my amp lamps, I am using that part loop that works very well, prefer against by a transistor (see speakers) if you make heavy use of Drumbox because the frequencies of an amp guitar are specially adapted.

For computer music or headphones with RC30 end of string, the sound is excellent.

Seen again and again, I will not again repeat the characteristics of the machine.
I just want to point out that even with the 99 memories bursting with sounds (most of which are recorded on two tracks with several overloops), I never reached the recording limit. Autonomy is really huge.

UTILIZATION

Config requires a small adjustment to fit the purpose just pushed the craft, which is the case for any looper. I personally find it more intuitive to use than the JamMan, but it is very subjective.

Boss RC30 located its interest in the aspect of "plug & play" not setting the input, no unexpected saturation and simultaneous recording of guitar + micro childish song.

Built-in effects (applicable only on a loop being played, not the instrument during recording) are anecdotal or completely useless. For cons, I find very nice to use rhythm patterns when you get a solo session.

The real lack I noticed over time, it is impossible to set a specific tempo, eg 130 bpm. The adjustment is made by pressing a button, without indication. Alone, it is no problem. But for a sophisticated use live or in a group, this can be annoying, a shift being quickly arrived on long loops.

SOUND QUALITY

I find excellent sound reproduction even after multiple overloops. The faders are very useful to adjust the volumes on the fly. The only limit is finally the amp, which should be powerful enough to collect a busy track, which may end up invading force the entire spectrum.

I use it mainly for guitar and secondarily for singing. The result is very satisfactory from my point of view. We must remember to put the pedal end of the chain (ideally in the effects loop when it has one) to get the best effect and not too damaging the input signal.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 years and am very satisfied. Its virtually unlimited memory, 2 tracks, the recording quality, plug aside $ play, patterns and the ability to recover all of its tracks on a pc really do a great tool. It just lacks a precise timing tempo (present on the Jamman) but I prefer the ergonomics of the Boss

I just changed my old jamman against a RC 30 then there is necessarily positive and ... negative.

the effects are quite poor but it was well thought out:
are matched directly to the tempo of loops (if they had put in a eh? ahem) so delay simpa remains filters ect to the DJ played and mumuse ok ... so why not gadget but these effects are not configurable at all and that's a shame and they are more systematically applied to two tracks and we can not do anything ...

OVERALL OPINION

I've had this morning is 22h I have played well over 3 hours.

I am yet skeptical when signal processing so it is neither for nor against but rather in the moist warmth of indecision I ask myself:
on the jamman is entitled to a volume knob for the input guitar signal while on the RC 30 there is "nothing to do".
This setting is simply absent. Against part is absent for a good reason, the RC 30 "beef" less sound than the jamman and in addition I am not yet managed to do flashed the fateful led "peak" which indicates a saturation input ( thank you captain obvious!). it is therefore great for the RC 30 + because in addition to less "pumping" sound it offers a more generous dynamic (malgrés the price to pay for these very good results.)
I think the jamman stereo as well that I have not tested it and apart from a reverse and 4 footswitch (it's still much better) which is expensive moin ... but good 2em track what ... in a compact size although they would still have changed their chassis eternal "twin" footswitch for 2 more ...

2 tracks can be recorded and broadcast in stereo. Quite unnecessary digital effects (octave down, phaser, overdrive nickname, delay), a rhythm section, a USB jack (without cable), no power supply. But either supplied 9V battery 1.5 V. Everything is controlled by two pedals recording / playback and stop.

UTILIZATION

Usage is quite simple, sound editing is done quite easily. The looper has a grip rather easy. It regrets against the lack of footswitch to change recording while you play.

I use it with my guitar and my voice. I do not use effects. Records are returned.

OVERALL OPINION

I have for a week and I deplore the presence of these unnecessary effects, like that of the drum, as I regret the absence of power and a footswitch. For almost 300 euros, you pay futile machine accessories while Digitech proposes a stereo Jamman more sober and more useful for less than 200 € (179 € in Thotho). It is for this reason that I will not keep the Boss RC-30 and instead go see the side of the Jamman stereo.

SOUND QUALITY

I used guitar singing and am satisfied with the sound quality, even for voice. The drum beats are not bad at all, I was expecting something synthetic ca finally sounds really bad, so I use them.
As against the onboard effects do not interest me too much, it's a little gadget I think.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a good month so far mainly used for composing. I had a JamMan stereo and JM4 before.
These are the two tracks that have inspired me to buy it and I regret nothing. This can vary quite a pretty basic piece. I want to use it on stage as a live looper is to say while making live, so I have no worries of time that appears between two presets (criticism I've read here and there).
I use the fs6 that can easily toggle between the two tracks.
I'd love to be able to assign the second footswitch fs6 of the activation / change beats battery. It is set to activate the effects but I do not use it ... For the moment I do not think it's possible damage.
I have also enjoyed a headphone output.
Overall this is a great tool for me, for both components for the live.

This is a two-track stereo looper with a recording capacity of 3:00. The recording quality is more than correct on a 16-bit format with a sampling frequency of 41.1 kHz. The samples thus obtained can be sent to a PC or Mac with a USB cable. The RC-30 also offers 10 models of quality batteries whose tempo is adjustable. I only regret that it is not possible to add models of external batteries via a USB cable without sacrificing one of the two recording tracks. Also note that the recording time of the first loop determines that of the second. I mean after the recorded loop of 10 seconds on a track you can not directly record your solo on track 2 ... Regrettable but the USB connection and simple copy / paste on the pc turns this pedal into a true multitrack recording quality.

UTILIZATION

The manual (in French) is quite clear and to the point. It is to read in case of major problem because the pedal itself provided the basic information necessary for its operation.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality is decent. Personally I use with my bass Warwick Corvette and I find it rather well reproduces the sound. I want to equip myself with a headphone made to improve its closed and avoid the echo effect with my amp but the sound to me like this already, little or suppressed in any case.
It also has a microphone input with phantom power for non-dynamic and I would record my bass in stereo with an E602-II, but lack of budget I have not had the opportunity to test this configuration making sound. I defer to my mind one day when testing is done but I feel that this pedal has in the stomach and for those like me who want to record at home without investing in a home studio is a good start. I use it for almost a year now and I'm not about to part with it! Although this is a pedal, I must deal. I would advise any beginner to "carréifier" his game or even just indulge in improvisation. In my opinion this is a great educational tool and if I had known this tool earlier I would have bought before everything else! I've never tested as two live bass are not really necessary in a rock band but to add effects like atmosphere samples intro or any other besides it's a tool easy to handle and that will give you confidence. It responds perfectly and it's solid yet sometimes I go a bit much! I regret only that the beats of drums were finally incorporated as metronomes and it is possible to insert other models in a folder other than the two tracks.
In terms of value for money I think its pretty decent price given the multitude of functions that it may occupy. In summary it is a sampler playful quality that allows anyone to create and enrich riffs in the most intuitive and fun that is but it is also a tool that can help you with some knowledge of software record layouts "square" quality-based copy / paste. I use it for 6 months, and am totally delighted in good condition connatre limits.

So if you want to record a verse on the track 1 and track 2 on the chorus, the chorus must be strictly of the same length as the verse: standard constraint, unplayable in practice. UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, after 10 minutes I felt familiar with the device.
Some features are a little difficult to access especially live (press 2 seconds remaining. Pedal 2 to change the track or on the pedal for an undo / redo). The manual is clear but I found one or two errors in the French version, the English version I Assembly nickel.

I use it for a few days, I am satisfied with this product as easy to use, and two tracks allow interesting possibilities.
But beware, this is not an RC-50 miniature.
