« Excellent! »
Published on 10/12/13 at 02:433 separate loops that can start, stop, play together or separately, to which can be added again and again ...
A useful USB port for import / export of loops from PC via USB cable.
1 microphone and 1 stereo input.
There is sth to MIDI but I've never used so far are not very fond of computers.
UTILIZATION
It is very quickly to the machine, even without reading the manual (I really wanted to make my first loops ...) we can quickly stack multiple loops in stop, station wagons, to stall in rhythm (this is for!). And the PDF manual available on the website of BOSS is useful if you want to advance in the use of various options, numerous enough as long as we have a little imagination. It is well done and quickly finds what you are looking for.
Reflecting the ease of use makes it I said it seems hard to do better ...
SOUND QUALITY
I'm not a sound engineer but his ear is completely clean after me.
I have a microphone for voice and sometimes percussion or acoustic guitar, melodica, ukulele, flute ...
And then an electric guitar with an effects pedal (BOSS GT6) and KORG SP250 and everything comes in a 20W amp Ibanez guitar keyboard. Since there is only one instrument input I had to unplug every time I wanted to change from piano to guitar, but that was before I have a small mixer and now this is paradise.
I tested the sound quality as the difference between the sound of my keyboard without the pedal and that through the pedal and the amp that is significantly worse even if it is far from being catastrophic. The difference is perhaps the amp as I know.
OVERALL OPINION
Tried anything else like looper before buying it seemed to be a reference and I'm delighted for 1 year.
I tried for a RC 3 (who has a track) and this is obviously a bit limited and then zoom with two tracks and qq effects. I did not find anything fantastic and not very easy to use but it was a short test.
It's expensive 250 euros but it was a bit of decline since then and it is so good to all that music alone. The craft reliable and robust hitherto air. From a year to several hours a week to see a day in places not necessarily own etc ... even if I try to take care and not a button has taken the game and everything works perfectly.
I think I'm far enough to use 100% too.
Another entry would not be too much for the multi instrumentalists but with a small mixer so good ...
There is no effect in the RC50, it simplifies things and then I made the purchase of a multi effect GT6 I'm happy, but that's another story.
I recommend it in general. For a guitarist who just wants her to improvise a rhythmic RC30 would do but quickly we realize the potential of three separate tracks and it's actually great.
Well, I said that I did not share at BOSS, just a little amateur musician without too much on and it's just good stuff.
