Without dwelling on the characteristics of the JamMan, in my opinion one of the strengths of it is virtually unlimited recording capacity. With a 1 GB card, you can see coming.

The negative point for my use is the lack of MIDI connection that could be useful to synchronize the JamMan with other instruments. (It is virtually impossible to synchronize a loop with a rhythm on a drum machine without shifts).

UTILIZATION

Rather easy to use (you still have the manual).


SOUND QUALITY

Good sound quality.
Maybe in stereo, it would have been better (though the guitars are mono, some stereo effects).

OVERALL OPINION

I bought two years ago in the USA.
I used it often as a notepad to record ideas riff that went through my head.
However, I can not use it for other purposes mainly because of timing problem.
Although

This is a looper, a machine loops, a curling iron guitarists )... Digital is (obviously) but without coloring the sound that gives it to loop and loop stacking not pose any concern, no loss of volume or quality ...
The big advantage compared to equivalent Boss is its memory capacity (SD card) and the ability to edit, save and make loops. wav format directly on a computer connected via USB ... I'm not a star of computer music but I really understood everything

UTILIZATION

relatively simple configuration, although complete ... its use still requires a learning time for it to become easy and the machine again become a tool, an extension of the game .. the manual is particularly inbuvable but it passes easily ...

OVERALL OPINION

I bought secondhand there are now 2 or 3 years and my only regret about it is not having bought earlier ... it is both a great sketchbook that keeps planes on hand, which can work rhythm, solos, of course, play with the loops (I'm a fan of Terry Riley, Steve Reich and many other sonic explorers ... take a listen Violin Phase, and you know what I mean ...

This pedal can be recorded and loops. It may sound out of its product or accumulated on a PC audio format. Possibility of registered guitar, bass, vocals and other instruments if any possibility of connection. 3 starters, mini jack, jack, and XLR. The output jack allows listening to that sort of effects pedal by plugging into an amp.
The model comes only pedal is not rack mountable.
The little hick is the memory card very very small. Otherwise it takes some getting used to the equipment, not much of a button, but much to do.

UTILIZATION

The manual helps a lot at first. When taken in hand, one quickly gets used to functioning.


SOUND QUALITY

I use the pedal with bass guitar and composition, with the click modular integrated. The sound is very correct, a group that will play very very cleanly ^ able to the limits used to make a demo recording. I

OVERALL OPINION

uses Fasson-time for Boss music at home, but its use can go much further. To repeat it in the studio, and even live without any problem.
I have no cons by point of comparison, since I tried I adpots.
It is very handy little robust, only small inconveniant must ressere the nut came quite frequently.
The value for money was right for me, I bought a reasonably priced gift features a pedal suits me amply.

UTILIZATION

Use is really intuitive.le manual in English is understandable.
it is easily detected on the pedals and buttons, and use is logical, because the number of features of the machine is not astronomical!
a looper to recommend technology for the disabled like me!

SOUND QUALITY

Sounds are nickels. there is a perfect similarity between its incoming and outgoing audio looper. overdubs can be the temptation is great for guitarists!
on the other hand, I did not appreciate the sounds of the drum. I find them too artificial and ultimately "nasty", so that I never use them as a basis for rhythmic train simple example ... a basic metronome sound is more bearable in the long run, but it is a personal opinion!

OVERALL OPINION

I have not tried other loopers before, but I think it is a robust creature that has a good value for money. I would do without hesitation that choice!
