This is also the aim of the pedal to be easy to use and suitable for guitarist, good intentions certainly, but can be a bit too far as we will see below.
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use:
- First click: Red LED, recording is started. As soon as one releases the switch, the LED turns green and recording in a loop
- Second click: overdub
- Quick double click: it stops the loop
- Long click: it clears the overdub.
- Short click and long click: clears the loop
Here we see the flaws of the show: managing off with a double click, it's just hell live / group of conditions, because it is almost impossible to stop the loop at just the right moment, or remove the overdub appropriate time.
A stop button as the X2 version would have been 10 times more convenient.
Besides when you want to clear the loop, click the short sound again if it has stopped! Can not delete a loop stopped discreetly what ... Hard in the condition as live!
Another concern: the LED is hidden by the foot. It's stupid but it may surprise when we believe we are currently recording but in fact not at all ...
The switch is also very sensitive, there is no "click" to enclechement so that it takes some practice to properly calibrate rhythmically.
Finally, the small size of bousin is painful casually: touching the volume knob easily with his foot, its length is too small to properly calibrate the pedal to a pedalboard-type process
One last disappointment: the metal top button of the switch came off on my own, impossible to pick ...
In short, it's simple, but it also has many live inconvenience.
In either against, it's ultra-convenient! In my opinion this is really a little looper unpretentious especially for the game at home to train on a blues grid for example.
Live or group, it is better to move towards the X2.
SOUND QUALITY
It restores fine sound, overdubs are placed well without setting a boiled or saturated, it is very clean.
Only small problem: the output level equal to that input is approximately 15 hours.
