Best value:
Excellent
- Made of Core I think.
- 22 frets, 2 humbuckers (humbuckers), passive electronic. Two buttons: one for volume, one tone and one for the 3-position switch to select the pickups.
- Les Paul shape, flat body as a Junior.
- Tune-o-matic style Gibson Les Paul, no vibrato, floyd rose or other gadgets of this kind: it is a basic guitar!
- Handle very thin and flat enough diffrent of Gibson on this point. trs guitar sound, still in good condition after 7 years of intensive use sometimes ...
UTILIZATION
- Channel: trs enjoyable, fairly thin and not too wide.
- The acute Accs: IDAL not like all the Les Paul guitar shape ... The cutaway is closed at the 17th fret, it's accessible even to the del if the bends are a little harder couraging. But you get used to ...
- Ergonomics: is that of a Les Paul is to say classical. This guitar is the team that essentially is a piece of wood with strings and pickups. Not for fans of technology but other then that apprcieront simplicity. It is a bit heavy if compared to other Ibanez Yamaha (lgres I got too) but lgre compared to Gibson!
- Easily obtained a good sound, and is good because there are not many rglages available ... High and low are well balance, even if it's a guitar plutt "hot" (although serious present) and the pickups are far from being as bad as they say sometimes.
SOUNDS
- I play mostly Blues and Blues-Rock with, and it is perfect.
- I have a 30 watt amp with a basic label of Marshall, which is not exceptional but I "rhausse" with pedals and amp simulation effect mid-range and the trs is correct, especially with a clear and lgre saturation (all my sounds prfrs fawns). I tried on a dj Marshall amp lamps trs expensive and the sound is awesome! With a crunch a bit aggressive, we get the Blues a trs hot here must carrment. Only problem, it tends to make the feedback very easily, which can be Gnant. We must remain reasonable distance from the amp! But as we play all goes well, it just should not be too lcher ropes between two solos volume lev.
- In gnral I play with a little saturation, but sometimes I go a little longer and everything goes fine. I never jou trs high volume, but it may become a little noisy ... A vrifier. The bridge pickup is very well, but never garish lens, especially in the clear. The neck pickup is worse: in other words it gives a smooth and well trs cool, but the saturation seems sometimes a bit "artificial". However feel especially on my low-end amp. Tone knob is not useful trs: ds that it gives the sound down while not great dish, it is better to let the bottom. Not against the volume can be very useful to vary the level of saturation without pedals.
OVERALL OPINION
- I play the guitar for 8 years, 7 years with the-l. As I said dj, guitar is a simple and basic, no frills on it. This may dplaire some, but I like a lot. Sr Although it does not have much opportunity to rglages but all Manir you change often SETTING THE guitar you? So let's say its a flat or not. If it is to the metal or Schredding, go your way. For the Jazz it may be a bit limited, but otherwise no problem. It looks like a beginners guitar, and this is the case because she learned to play Manir effective instead of hiding derrire rglages effects and to the pate, but it is anything but a guitar on the cheap.
- I have not tried any of the other models before buying, but I RATTRAP since ... Except face and a real Gibson Les Paul, it is well gnral in comparison.
- The report is qualitprix EXCELLENT: I paid 2000 francs (300 euros) with an amplifier (super promo, it is true), and for that price I had a real guitar, which m goes with no problem for 7 years, not something made of cardboard or a Yamaha without me ... The only scratches the price of such benefits to me.
- With the exprience, I would do without this choice hsiter. But I would take may be the SG version, which has the same sound but look a little more fun ...
