The Raw Power Series is designed to "give players the chance to experience Gibson’s SG and Les Paul models at a much more affordable price," according to Gibson.
The series features Satin finishes in new colours with a “vintage” flair. Each guitar features an all-maple body and maple fingerboards.
The neck of the Les Paul model is mahogany and each guitar has ‘57 Classic pickups. The Gibson SG Raw Power guitar model features an Ultra fast neck with dimensions consistent with the original Gibson SG ‘61 model, according to the company.
The guitar models are said to be 100% FSC pure instruments.
