It's a U.S. model, Limited Edition (very few models manufactured) There is a reissue that I do not know. It's a Les Paul Custom, exactly identical to the other color except black and silver, which has very well kept despite the years.
Solid mahogany body, mahogany neck with a piece; touches 22 frets with ebony binding, etc..
2 humbucking pickups Burstbucker 2 volumes, 2 tones, 3-position selector.

UTILIZATION

The handle is great, you must like 'les paul' Perhaps, like me ...
Heavy guitar to ergnomie very typical, access to acute is not excellent, but frankly, if we play on this type of guitar, who cares.

SOUNDS

The sound: no need to mention is that of a Les Paul, neither more nor less, it's beautiful!
I played on a Marshall JCM 800 of exactly the same age as the guitar, then a JC120, a sunn and currently on a fender hot rod: the sound is still powerful, beautiful mids, easily saturating tube amp. It will not of course the pristine sound of a stratovolcano, but this is not the purpose of this guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 30 years (oh, yes!) More or less, I have a strato to complete the sensation. I rarely go out, it is very heavy in the long run and avoid the trailing of anywhere.
I do not sell, but if I had to replace it I'd be pissed off, I'll see in the ray gibson les paul without hesitation.
