Excellent
Guitar made in United States trs classic in its design as typically Pauline.
Above all, it is beautiful (wood, sleep button, finish ...).
Finally, this guitar is dmarque nanmoins other les paul because I did not vritablement what some criticize these guitars: it is not heavy (unless my ltd viper), it is played sitting no problem, its handle (even if not a rapid MODEL trs is enjoyable (neither too thin nor too wide, low frets plutt ...) .
In short, A model of jouabilit (even if Access in acute is not his strong point)
UTILIZATION
Well, I dj rpondu for the handle and jouabilit.
SOUNDS
Should it my style of music? Sr as it can to match all (or almost) the styles of music.
It certainly sounds trs rock, but the clean sounds, especially on the neck pickup (490), are beautiful.
The sound is not too "fat", less so than on a standard (li diffrence the wood of the table ???), which makes this versatile SmartWood trs.
I was looking for a guitar that sounds plutt "old school" to find the legendary sound of my groups prfrs the years 80-90 (Leppard Maiden, Priest, Queensryche, Metallica ...). Well, I found my little les paul plugs into the clean channel (with a little gain) lamps my amp (ashdown fallen angel) through a TS9 and it is the Panard.
Not entered into, that this can scratch that old school sound: saturated branch in the canal it can play things much more "violent" and rcentes: deftones, rammstein, soad ...
on the other hand, if you trash your fans speed thing or something, place your chemein or consider a change of micro (the 498 dera feeble for that).
Itself by the way, the 498, what micro!
OVERALL OPINION
Buy on a lightning strike (let us not mince words) first visual and sound 3 weeks ago (in 1395 euros with a gift of a fender frontman 15r amp), the les paul is the best hardware I bought up Submitted. My two other guitars (Start and amricaine ltd viper) are also good guitars, but the motion is not the same when I have my gibson between pognes.
Frankly, given the current price (but also the increasing difficulty of procuring) standards, I think this SmartWood is an excellent quality-price (it is in any case suprieur for a lower price studios to other models).
In short, I do not regret at all, instead of my purchase.
