Guitar GIBSON MELODY MAKER REISSUE 2007
manufactured in the United States this year (from February after the serial number)
it possesses a single coil pickup, not a P90 but a micro strat style
volume and tone, a jack on the front of the body style SG
mechanical GIBSON DELUXE with round button and the old white, very classy and are rather good agreement.
the handle is round and relatively thin.
the frets are large, jumbo, and the original strings have a strong pull and sound very bright.
for there is just against a white coating very slight, it was the wood directly under the fingers, no varnish .... it's pretty minimalist but hey, it gives the illusion of vintage! (At least to look at her because it's very modern)
seen for just the look you feel propelled into the attic of mamy (yes grandma was a rocker and you did not know!)
everything is very simple but very effective and very good quality for the price
UTILIZATION
The guitar is rather thin, round and round the end, everything falls well to hand it a treat.
access to the treble is very easy because the heel of the neck is fine too.
it is very light and very easy to control, it does not sting the nose.
the sound is, you branch, you play, it sounds
SOUNDS
I used to play rather rock and blues, and metal in a band with another guitarist (rather neo style, the guitars complement each other well from a very heavy and my focus rather high mid / high)
I tested with my Flextone III XL (2x75W stereo modeling) in all possible configurations, direct ca pete
vox a preamp on my lamp, ca pete directly.
Coming soon to a JCM 900, add a future
knobs volume and tone are very progressive and there is no loss of sound quality if we reduce the position of the knobs, it gives just a different sound.
frankly, do not rely on single coil is a big lascard that sticks a big fat bathe without question.
is honest, direct, ca jumped the guitar, we are half way between the sound and the sound strat dimebucker (with a little imagination).
the sound is precise and incisive, it's true quality gibson

Received qq days ago, I gets off!
great look, great sound, more verstile as it sounds.
I bought a favorite on the internet after watching the video on the site of gibson.
ok then I could not try it before, but in France it is almost not found then was that or nothing, but the guitar came very well set and no worries cosmetics or electronics.
this is the first time I play a guitar minimalist, because I am rather subscribe to style guitars LOUIS XV BUFFET (LES PAUL STANDARD, STANDARD SG, Sheraton II, Epiphone Joe Pass with change in any of microphones yum yum! !)
Well have a raw guitar also feels good!! radical change of mind guaranteed!
value for money is excellent announced: from 329 euros if you are willing to wait six months, around 600 euros available now on ebay, or directly from the United States (which I did) for a prices ranging from 300 to 400 euros including shipping by airmail.
I do it again this choice? and how! At that price I bought 10!
