In the brand's tradition of encouraging players to express their own uniqueness, Luna Guitars has announced the "Design and Win" pickguard design contest.
By designing and submitting the most original, creative, and luna-esque pick guard you can win a YourSpace guitar of your own as swell as an all-expenses-paid vacation in Florida for you and a friend where you can visit Luna Headquarters and spend a day at Busch Gardens.
Luna encourages contestants to take inspiration for their pick guard collage from what they are passionate about – friends, family, pets, sports, music, potlitical statements, environmental statements, tattoos, rants and raves… the list is endless. According to the brand, entries will be based on creativity.
“Design and Win” contest details:
- Winners will be chosen in both digital and hand assembly categories
- Best overall designs will win an all-expense paid trip to Florida PLUS a Neo ‘Your Space’ guitar
- Runner-ups will receive a Neo ‘Your Space’ guitar
- Winners will be selected by Yvonne de Villiers, Luna’s creative director, along with a panel of artists in different medias
- Winning submissions will be featured online
Submissions will be accepted until November 10, 2008, with a winner announced on November 15. The contest is open to all entries worldwide, who are at least thirteen years old at the time of entry. Please note that entrants aged 13–21 may be required to provide a parent or legal guardian’s permission to enter.
