Reverend's set-neck Roundhouse HB guitar now features a plain maple top.
The Roundhouse HB features two Reverend humbucker pickups loaded in a single-cutaway solidbody, block inlays, neck binding, Reverend Pin-Lock tuners, and Bass Contour control.
The pickups are custom designed, the bridge pickup is slightly hotter than a vintage PAF and the neck pickup slightly cleaner for balanced tone and volume. The manufacturer claims that a careful attention has been paid to the electronics and the maple-to-mahogany ratio, so as to produce a classic single-cutaway tone in a thinner, lighter instrument.
The Roundhouse HB features a solid maple flat top on a resonant korina solidbody for an instrument that (according to Reverend) is lively, clear and rich in harmonics.
MSRP is $849, with an estimated street price of $649.
