It is a vintage styled amp, yet I don't think it is a reissue of any sort. Powered by one EL84 power tube and 2 ECC83 preamp tubes. The knobs are Bass, Mid, Treble and Volume.
I spotted this in my local shop. More and more companies are building a no nonsense, low budget tube amp. Most of them don't impress me, but I could see myself using this.
The street price is $399.
The mid knob! Midrange is very important in shaping your tone. It can make or break your sound and ability to cut through a mix.
It's a very attractive amp I love the green tolex.
You will need pedals to distort this amp. This is not a reason to knock or dislike the amp, I just want it to be known to other readers.
Very nice work. I cranked it up in the guitar store and didn't get any unwanted noise. The tolex was cut and glued nicely. This amp seemed built Ford tough and good for another 100,000 miles.
A no nonsense warm, clean tube amp. If you use pedals to get your overdrive sound anyway, than this amp is perfect for you. It's lightweight and light on your bank account.
