Marshall and Alfa Romeo partnered on the one-off MiTo Marshall Concept Car which, beyond aesthetics customization (various golden parts, Marshall logo on the front seats, Jim Mashall OBE’s signature and #LIVEFORMUSIC mention), the amp manufacturer installed a two-channel / 3 modes per channel JVM205H guitar head on which you will plug your favorite guitar to make the dual 12” 75W speakers growl. Marshall adds that the amp system is independently battery-powered.
Other curiosities are a Shure SH55 microphone in lieu of the gear knob and you’ll find the famous Marshall grille cloth and leather on the seats.
The car will officially make its first public appearance tomorrow, June 24th, at the Olympic Studios during the special invitation-only screening of Dave Grohl’s Sound City documentary followed by a live performance of the Charlatans’ Tim Burgess and Mike Collins. The car will also be exhibited throughout the year at a series of automotive and music events.
