Thread Lightning adapter - 90 degree with AV or Audio INPUT (Rode Mic to iPhone on Gimbal)

Hi there,
I am trying to source a lightning adapter with a 90 degree low profile that accepts audio input from a Rode Mic.
There are some cheap headphone adapters but they only do audio-out, not audio-in and often they split the audio and charge (which also seems to be a problem).
I am using a Rode Video Mic Go II with a Rode SC-15 USB-C to lightning cable (not all cables work either).
The problem is the lightning plug end is not a right angle (ironically the USB-C end is). I have the phone mounted to a Gimbal which requires the lightning port to butt up against the Gimbal itself. If I push the phone out form the Gimbal for the cable to still fit into the phone, then the Gimbal wont balance.
I have come across this very same issue from other users (even dating back 3 years) but I have not found anyone to have a solution yet.
Has anyone solved this yet?
Any suggestions for products that fit the requirements?
