A complete set of eight microphones (a dynamic bass drum, 4 dynamic tom and snare, and three static overheads and Charlet). At this price! They seem solid and everything is delivered in a suitcase which reassures resistant for travel.
A great start to start, whether live or in studio (it's missing a mic for the snare bottom-ish.)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for the past three mois.Au start at that price, I was a little suspicious but I still bought into the idea that are suggested as an extra kit which I will replace the microphones as you go.
But in the end, the sound is superb and it is almost enough to himself!
The bass drum, although it lacks a little definition in the bass, providing a sound punchy enough (a kick that I like: slamming into the midrange treble) and does very well out the harmonics!
Also with 2 SM57, the equivalent Prodipe fare as well! Its level, comparing it almost the same! I do not use even for batterie.Les prodipe are really up!
As for overheads mics, the sound is super clean and well balanced in terms of frequencies.
What I like most is that the highs are not too flashy or agressif.Cela mix means that it is easy to integrate and make them sound like no one wants that one is obliged to mitigate, sometimes significantly, in the high frequencies: No hissing. I am changing the face of other more expensive microphones where the sounds of cymbals and Charlet slam like that much at first listen, mix before, but fit super bad then the rest. These overheads are so good that I used to make percussion (Bong, congas ...) and the result is sensational! The SM57 paled next, one meeting was enough to convince the drummer!
For the record, I redid the catch with this kit for my group, because the one we had made (a sound engineer had done) in a room dedicated to this type of decision did not sound like you wanted some taken as the bass drum and snare was even completely missed! and yet, with more expensive microphones (a mixture of different brands fairly prestigious AKG and others I've forgotten the exact references), all taken over by a Yamaha 02R and saved to disk in a Direct Alesis HD24, with a bonus in 5052 Tl Audio preamp "for the GC and the CDC ...
well believe it or not that I did alone, as a large, relatively soundproof cellar in our (the walls are solid brick) recorded directly via a Cubase FIREPOD presonus sound altogether more! and I also speak on behalf of the drummer and other musicos! The whole mix is much more easily with the rest!
The sound engineer was pro, but it was a great studio associations with ...
For me this story illustrates quite well the potential qualities of such a kit kit.Bien better than Shure PG course!
In short, j'pourrai write again ... J'm'arrêterai toast, then, by saying that it's a great kit whether in live or studio, and that until fully equipped Beta microphones or much more expensive (but not necessarily much better) you can do a great job with. as such I does not hesitate to put the maximum score because it's worth it.
Otherwise, I find some negative opinions excessive! to wonder if they really tried and under what conditions?! It's a real lynching! Certainly, a notice shall include a great deal of subjectivity is good but, honestly beyond me! Finally, the tastes and colors are not always the ca ...
Anyway, I think this kit is great for what it is, outside of his amazing prices.
