Akai unveil on this first Musikmesse day a compact USB MIDI mixer and control surface for DAWs, called MIDImix.
The Akai MIDImix can transform into a surface control for your DAW with the touch of a button so that you can process and mix up to 8 tracks simultaneously in real time.
Features of this new MIDImix:
- 8 track faders and 1 master fader
- 24 knobs (3 per channel)
- 16 buttons organized into 2 banks for mute, solo and record arm functions per channel
- Send all mixing parameters to the DAW via a dedicated button
- Ableton Live map
- USB connection
The Akai MIDImix is expected in June with a US price of $99.99. It will ship with Ableton Live Lite DAW.
