Useful when one object has more than three devices noon. Indeed the THRU of each device (if there is one) helps out well but may not exceed three devices else watch the loss of MIDI messages. For my part, I plug the cable in the south of my pedals quadra thru him, dispatches the message to every device in my rack. No complaints. No crash. That happiness.
