Published on 06/28/11 at 14:01Used for a year, for use with an Axe Fx Before I used a Digitech pedal LE2101 with a dedicated Control, of course, a little luxury for display with the names of the patches, instant access everywhere tuner to display ... etc
What is the FCB is to have 2 expression pedals built into the MIDI board cheap, robust and works satisfactorily for simple manipulations (patchchanges, stompboxes, controls external variables accessible via MIDI CC) .
The obvious disadvantages: its sheer size and display very limited. Can not send codes SYSEX for direct access to all axis parameters.
The solution that does everything I want would cost over 600, - Euro thus effectively the value price of 1010 is unbeatable. Unless unexpected windfall came in large qty I do not change soon.
However: the design too large, the operation and the weight will start to be these days and if a new version out Behringer below 250Euro Likelihood I would change "the next day."
Side config I'm using the version Uno, programming only and easily with the computer on soft FCB_editor V2.1 Java. It can be set directly on the pedal but the manipulations to dissuade me of this procedure, too bad for small changes in repeated and all controls are done with a laptop or at home.
