Bass made in Germany. Swamp ash body and bolt-on neck with 24 frets ovangkol. Touche Wenge. MEC MM pickups. 2-band active EQ, switch active / passive (volume knob push / pull), and micro switch for each pickup coil choice between series / parallel.

UTILIZATION

The handle Warwick is a marvel, a real highway! The ergonomics are very good too, thanks to the curved body. It does not look too when playing standing.
Access to the treble is not too bad, it's not neck-through but it is nevertheless very good.
You can find the sound you want just enough tampering in the knobs. She has in any case a huge range of sounds from his "pseudo" MM at its most classical type or PB JB increasingly modern, while retaining the style Warwick.

SOUNDS

This bass is made for a bit of all styles of music, as long as you love the sounds modern. We also get a heavy sound and a bold crystal clear sound. I played mainly on a Ashdown Mag C115-300, then drive home on a CD-20B, on both it sounded very good, even if my drive does not like the 5 string: P
I used it both for the metal to funk.

OVERALL OPINION

I used it about a year and a half. I had bought it because I missed too, I had previously tried several other Warwick (all great, I preferred her not to others, it's just that I prefer to have a bass). What I liked with this bass is its versatility, unfortunately, can quickly become serious if muddy with the wrong settings or the wrong amp. The price / quality ratio is itself very good. For about 1300 € you have a real Warwick 5 string, very good bill.
With the experience I would do this choice because even if I sold now, I really enjoyed it.
