Overall this guitar is nice to play fingerstyle against slapping, which I have given up.
SOUNDS
I use this bass for blues, jazz shuffle, when I do actually get to play.
The sound is clear, full, sustain is really good thanks to the neck-through construction.
with my H & K BK100 I sound a bit fat, and I choked it up with a compressor and a little reverb.
I particularly appreciate the high mids and trebles of this bass.
OVERALL OPINION
I have had this beast since 2009.
I tried a lot of 5 strings, but I have fallen under the spell of sound and color.
The Pros:
sound in the treble and bass fullness. Big sustain, Manufacturing quality, The bridge has independent string adjustment, Ease of play.
The Cons:
The weight is a bit tiring in the long run, A humbucker for the neck pick-up might have been good.
I pay € 800 for this bass in 2009. I am looking for a Jazz Bass now.
