«  Not really sure this time ... »

I like the Planet Waves brand (sub-brand of D'Addario in fact): they are generally incidental music quality, innovative, practical, aesthetic and strong!

But this time they did not totally convinced me ...

Of course, the object is solid, and no lack of aesthetics. It also tries to practicality by offering several innovative features, turner and mechanical cutter strings or functions logically linked by the same process: changing strings.

However, I can not find the well thought out ergonomics: I can not find my bearings on the machine for any of the two functions. When I run the mechanics of guitar, the buttons tend too easily leave their homes, and must be reintroduced each time in the unit.

This may be the case with other similar systems, but I think that ergonomics better implementation would have a better handle this problem.

Then the function to cut the strings is not very practical either: I always look where I have to take because it is not clear, and more, the opening of the clip is very hard, and strong Long before inserting the cord to cut.

Well, after that, the cup is no problem! Phew!

I'd say this function to cut the cords significantly increases the device without being a very practical side. The clamp is too hard and needs too much operational opening. Moreover, its operation is not obvious, because the place where shooting is not very noticeable, in my case, anyway!

Finally, we may grant an accessory excellentre fabricaiton quality, and look attractive. And it actually does what it is supposed to!

But it is not very practical to use, for any of its two functions. Of course, he assumes both to the end, but it's not very ergonomic.

If I had to make a choice, I would probably try something else, was only to see if other gear better keep the buttons in their homes, while turning the crank.

It's not a bad purchase in itself, but it is not really great in some ways. Or maybe it is I who am not very good with the cranks!
