Mod Kits DIY introduces a new line of prewired electronic kits for guitar called MOD Prewired Assemblies.
Two MOD Prewired Assemblies kits are currently available, a vintage Fender Telecaster-style with a 3-way pickup switch and a Stratocaster-style kit with a 5-way selector.
The first kit (Telecaster) also features two CTS 250KA potentiometers, a 1/4" Switchcraft mono input jack, one SB Electronics 716P “Orange Drop” capacitor and a modified volume control with 'treble bleed’ which helps keeping the sound clarity while changing the volume. This assembly is available for $49.50.
The “Stratocaster” kit includes 3 knobs (same reference as the Tele), the 5-way pickup switch, the mono input jack, the Orange Drop capacitor and the volume control. This kit is available for $69.75
