Aphex adds to its catalog the Microphone X USB condenser microphone equipped with the processing technologies the brand is known for.
Aphex Microphone X features an optical compressor that provides a consistent output level, the Aural Exciter to add presence and air to the high frequencies, and the Big Bottom processor for depth in the low frequencies. All these features are adjusted directly via several controls located on the mic body.
The microphone also includes a headphone output with a preamp based on the HeadPod 4 and you can record at a 24-bit / 96kHz resolution.
The release date was not communicated. You’ll find more details on www.aphex.com.
