The freeware of the day is Sleepy Time DSP's first plugin and is dedicated to de-essing.
Lisp is a VST 2 / 3 plug-in for Windows which automatically tracks the volume and pitch in your audio tracks to reduce harsh sibilance issues in real time, with up to 20dB of reduction. It features Left, Right, Mid and Side modes for de-essing stereo tracks and a manual mode is included if you wish to reduce specific frequencies.
Along with the reduction knob, you can also adjust attack, release and sensitivity.
You can download Lisp for free from sleepytimedsp.com.
