We'll finish this Freeware Week with Specan32, a spectrum analyzer for Mac and Windows by russian PiTone.
Specan32 is a third octave spectrum analyzer which GUI has been modeled from the 1980 Klark Teknik DN60.
The plugin adds filter and the full frequency scale of GOST 17168–82 standard.
Specan32 is available in VST 2.4 format for Windows 32 and 64-bit and Mac OS X Universal Binary. You can download it from www.pitonelab.ru.

How do I open and install this program? The download is simply Specan_1.2.0.2_Win_64bit with no file extension. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Thank you in advance.

Maybe it is a Russian spyware program, it doesn't have an installer for Macs either.

there are .zip files with no extension, so you'll have to add it manually
