AXL introduced its new MJZ body shape with P-90’s in both standard and Badwater finishes.
With a solid alder body and a rock maple neck, the MJZ features 2 overwound Alnico P-90 pickups controlled by a 3-way switch.
The offset body design is available in Lake Placid blue, sunburst and metallic silver with matching headstock. The tortoise pickguard and bound headstock give the MJZ a vintage vibe. Also available are two Badwater finishes, off-white and antique brown. Other classic design features include a tremolo bridge, rosewood fretboard, and 25–1/2” scale length.
Pricing & Availability
The all-new AXL MJZ (AZ-800/820) has a MAP of $209.99 and will be available in March 2011.
