Published on 06/15/04 at 15:00I seen this guitar on the bc rich site and though it was beautiful. a few months later it came up in a musicas friend mag, and i had to have it, got it for $529.99, got a coffin case for another $100, and it came in on ups in 3 days.
I love the look of this guitar, its a mouth dropper no doubt about it, the actionds extreamly smooth, and the neck just seems to b perfect to play on, tuners are of fair quality, and the electronics give your a master tone knob that u can use to crank distortion, or highs, when needed.
First off since this is a Korian production guitar, the set up sucked so much ass i cannot begain to tell you about, the fret buss on E was terrable, and the stock strings were so small, it was like bending them when i would fret it making the intonation sharp. After raising the bridge slightly and adding a larger gadge string tho this problem is somewhat fixed, more than likely it will need a rod ajustment tho.
Quality, this axe is built to b banged around, it does weight quite a bit more than regular gutiars, about 13 pounds, but after you put it on ur back, its no problem, at least not to me, everything on it seems to b pretty solid, it will probelly last me a while.
Well when you buy it and change the strings and make a few adjustments to it, its a quality axe i must admit, and its a beauty, if your thinking about getting one, id say go for it, your won't be let down.
