I adquire this guitar because of the shape. I has the greatest shape I've ever seen. Since I love playing metal, i thought it would be nice to have a guitar like this. I paid $500 for it.

What I like most of this unit is the powerfull sound, also the body and the widow headstock but really what I think I like the most was the neck of the guitar. It's extremly soft. You can play very but very fast thanks to it. I think I fell in love of it the first time I played this guitar.

What I really didn't liked was the floyd rose. I get's out of tune easily. Also I didn't like much the wood of the guitar...is baswood but, it's not a good one. This guitar is very heavy, but if you take out the floyd rose the body will as light as a feather. What I'm trying to say is that this kind of wood is so soft that you can easily damage your guitar.

It's a great guitar...sounds well, and I think I'm going to keep it until the end of my life because I know it would last.

Even though all the problems I've mentioned, I think this guitar is one of the greatest I've ever played. It has everything someone who likes metal want...you won't be dissaponited if you buy it.

eBay!. Represent. i got it from ebay for a little under 300 bucks. good deal since music123.com has it for like 4 or 5 hundred and that's the cheapest i ever saw it on retail.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! that's the sound of this guitar. It's for pure heavy metal. The BDSM pikups are AWESOME dirty and fair clean. It has a thin neck and greak action. Thing thing is also indestructable, you could chop down a tree with it. lastly, it's bad ass. look at it!!!

i got some beef wit this puppy. fist off, with the locking tremolo you need a degree in something to change the strings, goddamn! it's like a chastity belt for a guitar. secondly, its HEAVY as hell. after a few hours of playing my shoulder was killing me (i guess thats why kerry king and mick thompson play this, theyre huge dudes!). another thing about this is the strap buttons. the location of them makes it EASY to drop the guitar, ive done it many a time. some strap locks could fix that.

chesswood body, rosewood neck, floyyd rose trem, BDSM humbuckers. Not bad.

good dealk for an experienced player. a beginner should look into the bronze warpack that has a bronze series warlock BUT it has the widow headstock so its wicked.

the fucking thing never works! one week this wire isn't connected.. the next a switch isnt on right.. the wireing is this shitts...

the neck is a litle too small

well... it would be a great guitar if the wireing was better.. it's in the shop right now.. i gotta drop 100 to replace the fucking wiring. its a great investment.. if u ever wanted to sell this guitar.. the price would stay relivly the same or go up.

I paid about $500 at Guitar Asylum and it was my 18th b-day present

The sound has to be the best part. It's a great guitar for metal and hard rock, and the construction is great. I havent had any cracks or blemishes on it and I've had it for about a year.

The bridge, (Down with Floyd Rose! Bring back Kahler!) I have so many tuning problems with this bridge, mainly because it's a floating tremolo (positioned above the tremelo block) and whenever I used the whammy bar it goes out of tune no matter how tight I lock the locknuts.

One of the toughest guitars I've ever played, it takes a beating and keeps going. Kinda heavy though, i prefer lighter guitars for more mobility, but on this guitar it's not a big problem.

If you can get past the many problems with the bridge it's the perfect guitar for hard rock and metal.

I PICKED IT UP AT GUITAR CENTER. IT LOOKED BAD ASS SO I GOT IT FOR ABOUT 500. AND COMES WITH A COOL COFFIN CASE

THE STRINGS ARE CLOSE TO THE NECK. IT HAS ALSOME TONE AND CLARITY. IT WILL BRING THE FUCKING HOUSE DOWN.IT WILL GIVE YOU A SOUND ON A POWER CORD THAT WILL MAKE YOU SHIT. I HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND I GOT BAD ASS ON THE GUITAR.

NO PICK GUARD. THE NO MASTER VOLUME SUX BUT GET USE TO IT

I bought this at guitar center for $400.

The main reason I got into BC Rich guitars was obviously the look. This guitar is probably the most beutiful guitar I've ever seen. The widow headstock makes the warlock look great. The guitar plays great. I had never had 24 frets before and after i got this guitar i was able to play completely new things. The floyd rose was also somthing new to me. I love the easiness of having the tremelo right under the palm of your hand. The pickups are very sensitive, this could be good or bad, i think its pretty cool though.

There is really nothing wrong with this guitar, the only reason i had a few disapointments was becuase I didn't know the bad sides of the floyd rose. I was unaware that with a floyd rose tuning to differnet tunings is very tedious and messes up the spring tension. This made me decide to swap it in for a platinum warlock (normal tremolo) and a stop block. I also didn't like the fact that there was no pick guard, but i guess that can be fixed easily.

The NJ series warlock is built to last. The strings are low on the neck but high on the body so even without the pick guard it is difficult to sratch the body. I had no problems with the construction of this guitar.

This is one of the coolest guitars I've ever seen. The only reason i disliked parts of this guitar was because i was niave. I would recomend this guitar to anyone. Great looks, sound, and playability.

You can look for the features online. It's not the best in terms of woods (especially when you have played PRS, Gibson and ESP ...), but it's okay. 24 frets, bolt-on neck, two humbuckers, Floyd rose-licensed vibrato (not very good), two volume and one tone controls and a 3-way toggle switch. It's quite okay for a guitar at this price point! But it's not really up to par compared with an LTD 400.

USE

The neck is relatively comfortable, it's not as fast as that of the LTD. Access to the upper frets is not bad, the neck's a nice surprise. Its shape is awesome and it's the guitar's main strength. It doesn't affect the playing of the guitar, regardless of whether you play sitting down or standing up. It's a heavy instrument, but not as heavy as a Gibson. However, it's not the best in terms of sound.

SOUND

Let's get something clear: If you play rock, jazz, blues or even heavy metal, go look for something else!!! This guitar is aimed at guitarists who play the ballsiest and hairiest music there is (neo, death, doom, etc.).
It sounds heavy, very heavy, extremely fat!!! I like to fiddle with all the pots on the Mrshall MG I rehearse with and the sound never really changes much!!! It's perfect for Slipknot fans!
And surprise!! The clean sounds are not bad at all (for this kind of guitar, that is).

OVERALL OPINION

I have mixed sensations regarding this guitar. It's a real pity that such a a guitar isn't equipped with an active EMG 81 at the bridge and a 60 or 89 at the neck, plus a faster neck and a better vibrato. It could be really awesome. I have the impression that it's a guitar aimed at the wallets of 13-year old neo-metal fans' parents... It's a real pity. I recommend all budding metal guitarists to take a look at the LTDs!!! What's important about a guitar is the sound, even though looks also play a (lesser) role.

First of all, the image on AF is wrong. That's not a NJ (or I'm mistaken). I'd say the image corresponds to a Bronze because it doesn't have Floyd, no string locking, two buttons, a tune-o-matic tailpiece, no body-through...

Guitar made in Japan and assembled in the USA. Original purchasing date: 1999.
This guitar has 24 frets, the pickups were replaced with Seymour Duncan SH6 humbuckers. The bridge is a licensed Floyd made by BC Rich. It features three pots and a three-way pickup selector. There's a volume control for each pickup and a tone control.
The two Seymours are splittable. And that's not a minor feature because it allows you to get good clean sounds, but also a nice crunch.

USE

Very pleasant and fast neck. Access to the upper frets poses no problems.
The design of the guitar is very good, considering that you can play it comfortably both sitting and standing up. It is very well-balanced when standing up, I haven't noticed any tipping. However, it is quite weighty and you'll notice it right away.
In terms of sound it's fat, very fat. Heavy distortions are excellent. It's also good for rock crunch. I don't know how it sounds with the original pickups because I bought it with Seymour Duncans.
Its only weakness is clean sounds. It has a tendency to distort really fast with these pickups. Fortunately, you have the switches. I'm grateful pickup split switches exist .

SOUND

The sounds I get with it are perfect for my style of music (metal / hard rock / death).
I use this NJ with an old Dean Markley DMC 80 (https://en.audiofanzine.com/solid-state-combo-guitar-amp/dean-markley/DMC-80/), together with a digitech RP150. It's amazing what you can get with a decent setup like this one.
The sounds I prefer are obviously heavy sounds and fat distortions. I also like the crunch sound I can get with this setup.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using this guitar for about a week. I also have a Warlock Platinum. The sound of the NJ is stronger and heavier.
What I love the most about this guitar is its color and form. I love the warlock. It's all a matter of taste.
What I like least about it is its weight.
Before buying it I tested and adopted the warlock platinum.
It's a really good value for money for me, because I got it secondhand. If I had to, I'd buy it again.

I doubt that my guitar is in the same series as the opinions Previous, because frankly, I for once, I really feel that they have made a standard in buying this bullshit "thing "

UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

In the era I mount kit EMG (81/85) the top, and even with a guitar of this type, it must be said that the default EMG catch much, especially saturated fat
its level, is critical to rfrer on EMG, since any t adj said on these pickups, I do not see the intrt to put a layer (Me j 'loves EMG)
PS: I have since mounted the mics on another guitar, that she was worth, and I do not regret at all ...
