well i had a 1958 matador semi-hollow body guitar but it burnt up so for christmas i got a warlock from guitar centet

i used to like the sound it sounded great with most efeects but the clean was really muddy. and i love heavy guitars and the weight was perfect

i hate the clean tones are muddy ad the bad ass bridge knock off is a bust.The wiring in mine burnt up after less than a year

it has great heavy-duty body and the neck has a good feel but the wiring is crap

great for short term use or anyone seeking a low budhet body for some good pick-ups

i was visiting a friend of mine in nashville, and while staying there his brother brings over a warlock. i instantly fell in love with this bass. it just so happened he was selling it, so i bought it for 250$. and i would have gladly payed more.

right out of the gate i love its killer look, like a black widow about to strike. then the sound, its deep without too low of a tone, its grindy without too high of a screech. great intenation and stays in tune like a champ. it has excellent versatility in the tone, you can get a sound all the way across the spectrum, unlike many other bass's where your stuck on one type of sound.

the only complaint i "could" have would be that it is a bit heavy, but what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger.

the reason its heavy is because its strong and sturdy. a solid hunk of machine. the tone knobs tight, the cord jack is tight, the neck is strong, the head stock is strong. the warlock takes no shit!

ive said it all, if you wanna hear more just get one and plug it in.

i paid £250 for this guitar, it is my second guitar and i bought it when i began learning guitar

it looks amazing! play any gig and everyone will comment on it, even with a 1o watt amp it sounds amazing but add a zoom effects pedal and u cant beat the sound quality, distorted or clean

The only thing i dislike about the guitar is the tuning board. it looks amazing but its too fragile.

the guitar is a well built,heavy beast but some areas of it need to be looked after to keep it in perfect condition. the humbuckers are amazing but there isnt much difference between the two.

This guitar is amazing, but dont buy it! or it wont look as good on me!

Has my guitar made in China, 24 frets easily accessible, 2 humbuckers, 1 volume rglage, a tonal and a slcteur bass, treble ....

UTILIZATION

The handle is really enjoyable it is soft and smooth, easily accessible trs enjoyable, good sound is easily accessible, just DPress lightweight on the strings for a crisp, compared to what the NEHAP ke lon BC Rich trs pa are heavy, I find pluto lgre mm .. m ke I find the last 2 are less acute cargo accessible ke others. Personally I jou some type metal (metallica, sepultura ...) and this guitar is as aggressive form ke kelle I find a punch, though one little ossi rgler the sound serious or relatively acute ossi I m low vs ke sure the sound is exellent

The neck pickup is a draft, we do not have much disserne, that the handle is bold, clear sound is horrible but ... who buys this guitar for playing blues ???!! I will not dwell on the config 'home, then, this is not what is most gégé.

2 / With EMG81 active in the bridge position:
BIG sound. He sends it mildly. It can easily happen to have a sound like Slayer, Metallica etc. saturation. Of course it is-still-not for clean sounds. Why choose a EMG85 in the neck position (config 'to Zakk Wylde and Kerry King) or a EMG60 (config' James Hetfield). On mine I put a single mic in the bridge position that fits me and nickel.

OVERALL OPINION

I have nearly 10 years. So the old version with the head upside down (pins down). What I like about her is her mouth and aggressive sound (with my new microphone). The guitar that my idols had (bin when you've got 15 years ...) for 2500 FRCS (about 400 euros today) so ... With experience, I can not do it again this choice, first because I have 10 more years and if the taste does not develop in 10 years I would ask questions (especially today LTD with the brand there are good guitars for not too expensive) ... But in any case I have no regrets, this is THE guitar my favorite all my guitars, emotionally-and it is probably due to the years passed.

I've had a year, its shape is really cool. I try an ibanez and ltd grg170 the bin and the era I prfr BCRich. so good today that I have to change their style of music I would do not want. But style mtal I find it goes well.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought 4 years ago (it costs more the era). Before, I had a Behringer pack of 150 euros for noobs (guitar + amp shit shit). So I felt the difference. Then again later, I bought a marshall 100w amp and I still felt the diffrence! (I mean the sound of distortion of course)
