VERY handle end, 24 cases
3 pickups: 2 humbuckers and 1 single and split in the middle
Good build quality, it has actually aged well in 20 + years

UTILIZATION

The neck is very thin (normal is a rather typical "hard rock" guitar), we like it or not but it's pretty nice overall
The guitar is fairly light and well balanced (note that I changed the location of the top tether attachment: instead it is at the end of the tip, I had replaced under the tip, which allowed the strap to better calibrate the guitar)
Access to acute is certainly one of the best there is, thanks to the shape of the body is reached without problem until the 24th box

SOUNDS

With microphones and split, there is a wide range of sound, more "jazzy" hard rock that spot, at 9 positions spread over 3 microphones
Obviously more comfortable in distortion in the clear but it is doable
I played this guitar on several amps, the bottom transistor 20w-end tube amps, and let's be frank: the amp changes everything! With a good amp there is quality sound, beautiful and varied

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this guitar as a second guitar (in 1992), I always have and I play occasionally.

I love his side "schredder Sunday" with its fine round and 24 cases very accessible.

I bought it at the time ONLY for the protection plate truss-rod marked "Gibson" (time or Gibson Epiphone was still proud!) But I've never regretted it!

I find it very typical "late 80's-early 90's" in the look and sounds (the heyday of Ibenez) and this is what I like, so I've never resold.
A great little versatile guitar and good quality
