These two new Wolfgang guitars combine a vintage style to more modern elements. For the first time, EVH used a mahogany bolt-on neck with a 50s style shape.
Both Wolfgang Custom Deluxe USA and Custom Relic USA guitars feature a mahogany body with a maple top and white/black/white binding. The ebony fingerboard has a 12" – 16" compound radius, 22 vintage-style frets and pearl Block inlays. The neck also includes dual graphite rods. The nut width is 1.6875" and the scale length is 25.5".
Pickups used on these guitars are Wolfgang Zebra humbuckers, completed with a 3-way pickup selector, two volume and two tone controls.
The Relic USA version is equipped is a Floyd Rose R2 locking nut and a rail-style Schaller string retainer on the headstock. A Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge and adjustable tailpiece is also present and the Relic finish has been applied to both the body and the neck.
The Deluxe USA version features a TonePros TP6 bridge with a stop bar tailpiece.
Both models are available in three Gold, Black and Vintage Burst finishes.
US pricing announced by EVH is $5332.32 for the Wolfgang Custom Deluxe USA and $7999.99 for the Wolfgang Custom Relic USA.
