Guitar in violin is manufactured in the province of Canada, Quebec.
Reason for import in the U.S., the electronics are mounted in New Hampshire.
On mine the two Hambuckers are brand Godin.
The switch provides 5 notches bridge pickup and neck twice at position 1 and 5, splits these simple microphones in position 2 and 4. For the position, the two microphones are double operation.
Two knobs: one for the tone and one for volume.
It has 22 frets and the frets are jumbo.
The violin is excellent. The body and neck are solid mahogany. It's heavy. The fingerboard is rosewood.
The finish is very good in build quality of the wood. The strings are mounted in the body. Mine is painted on wood flamed. Accustomed to paintent guitars, I find that it changes me.
So 9/10 because there is little defect. A tracking points on the top of the handle is somewhat slimy ... This proves that the error is human construction.
UTILIZATION
The neck is narrower That a LP but More than a Strat. I find it quite fast and ergonomic. The placement of discrete landmarks boxes baffled me at first but I got used to it.
It is mahogany, this is not wood crate: it is heavy. When the door, it is balanced very well. It's forgotten his weight.
Access to the treble is very good.
SOUNDS
First of all the electronics are passive. I was astonished when he first plugged in my amp, not hiss or noise. This underlines the quality of electronic component and assembly.

Connected, the clean sound on the neck pickup selector position 1, rises rapidly in saturation if the volume knob is at the bottom. As for the neck pickup in position 5 and position 3 for 2 microphones. After refining, the sound is warm, vibrant and rich. The sound continues and sparkles. I love it!
It offers the possibility to split the pickups in simple, to provide a sound slap and colder.
So a clean sound that can be very jazzy, and popping sounds very hard rock. With a good disco, you can go to Death Metal killer.
To summarize, a very versatile guitar with a sound rich in harmonics, enjoy a high quality component and violin very well made.

I use it for 4 months.
