HeliArc, a manufacturer from Santa Ana, CA, introduced at NAMM guitars made of wood and aluminium.
Six models are currently being offered, with an aluminium body (2– or 3-inch deep depending on models) and a wooden core. The wooden neck features 22 frets. The guitars are handmade in the USA.
All models are outfitted with Schaller locking tuners, Tune-O-Matic bridges and are delivered with Dean Makley NickelSteel Electric strings.
The manufacturer announced a price of $3000.
As for names, they’re all about war: B-52, Drop Tail Bomber, Aurora, Arc Light, Halo or VT Bomber…
