The guitar I recieved was ready to play right out of the box. It's seems to be pretty robust and stays in tuner pretty except for temperature changes.
The only thing that's failed is the plastic friction washer on a tuner but that's no big deal. I wish that the pick-ups had more of an adjustment range and that the Phillips screws were not made of a very mild steel.
The fit and function of this guitar is very good.
The folks at Musician's Friend packaged everything very well and constantly updated the information on the case that I had ordered (out of stock).
