UTILIZATION
Submitted comfort is all over the neck, the rosewood fingerboard and frets are Idalis. The pitch is of the Fender with a C-section rather flat. Link bodies handle the 14ME and touches 22 frets frets.
The body and solid burl elm (I know recently). The balance is good sitting or standing. The point opposite tendency sometimes hang the strap and you have to have RFLEX not to drop the fine.
CCAA treble is good even if it is a little gn by the heel of the neck, but nothing more than a Stratocaster. The long pitch makes bends a bit difficult, do not get more than a half tone and pain of the ropes treble break (e and b). Can be a problem for the vibrato ...
SOUNDS
The guitar sounds good even though trs vacuum (which is a good sign dj) as a branch. The sound is kind of EMG. The attack is frank or sensitive according to the finger used. Micro rpondent as both the simple micro Hambucker. The power is impressive. All without breath (thank you EMG) APRS same 23 years. I make my blues junior easily saturated in all three configurations.
I use mostly the neck pickup position and Micro Center / neck pickup that better in my sound. The combination of microswitch allows a lot of noise and the use of such bridge pickup and neck pickup (not possible with a strat) soft saturation. The bridge pickup is just be a little too aggressive my taste and the absence of correction of tonality missing on this point.
It sounds good but trs is due to the rock type and micro Hambucker EMG (Gilmour its kind). I play Blues Junior or Roland Jazz Chorus and I tried it on MARSHAL JCM 900. Whatever the amp, the sound is l..
OVERALL OPINION
I bought it new in 1988, still a student, c'tait a big hole in the budget. It's a beautiful guitar by his violin, colors and sound. I have always and returns often. I do not believe me Sparer one day if only for the beauty of the object. I somewhat regret the absence of tonality could give more versatility but would risk DABM the table. With multi-effects today there are so many possible correction that I have not done so.
