LTD celebrates today at Summer NAMM 2014 the 30th Anniversary of Metallica’s Ride the Lightning album with a limited edition guitar.
The LTD Ride the Lightning electric guitar is limited to 300 copies worldwide and features the same graphics as the cover of Metallica’s second album released July 27th, 1984.
The guitar as an alder body, bolt-on maple neck with 25.5” scale length, ebony fingerboard with 24 X jumbo frets and a single inlay representing the Metallica logo, a pair of EMG 60 (neck) and 81 (bridge) active pickups, and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body design.
The LTD Ride the Lightning will ship in an ESP hardshell featuring the Metallica logo, with a certificate of authenticity.
