Michael Kelly Guitar Company announced that it has teamed up with aCountry music artist Blake Shelton to create a new signature model guitar.
The Blake Shelton model is based on the company’s line of Patriot electric guitars but features a distinctive camouflage design motif on its body and headstock. The instrument features a classic “camo” design that utilizes green, brown and black colors.
The Blake Shelton Signature Michael Kelly guitar is a solid body electric with a thick, arched Maple top, Mahogany body and neck, Ebony fingerboard, Grover Rotomatic tuners and two Rockfield humbucking pickups.
It is designed to produce “big, rich tones with excellent sustain” and – due to its thick Maple top – “an articulate treble response”.

Its retail price is $999, with an approximate “street” price of $699.
