Peavey starts shipping the PXD Series, a new series of electric guitars which distinctive look clearly should appeal to metal guitarists.
With its active pickups coupled to tone-sustaining mahogany, the Peavey PXD Series aim at full-on aggressive tones. According to Peavey, these guitars are built for speed, slicing leads and razor-sharp riffs.
The Peavey PXD Series debuts this month with four distinct models, the Tomb, Twenty-Three, Tragic and Void, all including a range of feature options including Kahler tremolos, adjustable bridges with a string-through design and wicked body shapes that ship with Coffin Case hard cases or gig bags.
The initial launch of PXD guitars will offer satin black finish with aged aluminum pickguard, inlay and truss rod cover, with additional options to follow.
MSRPs for the PXD Series range from $399.99 to $899.99.
