C. F. Martin & Co. introduces a special Custom Artist Edition, the 00-DB Jeff Tweedy.
It was designed in collaboration with Wilco front man Jeff Tweedy. The guitar is being unveiled at Musikmesse, which is taking place in Frankfurt this week. This special limited edition instrument will be built for 2 years and will be available from participating Martin dealerships.
The 00-DB Jeff Tweedy Edition is a traditional 14 fret 00 size guitar with a deep body and a modified V shape neck with long scale (25.4”). The top, back, and side of the guitar are constructed from mahogany and it features a mahogany sunburst top inspired by a Martin Museum piece. The interior label of each instrument is personally signed by Tweedy and numbered in sequence.
