Sugar Bytes launches the Egoist groove box
Egoist allows you to use your own samples to create beats on Mac and PC.
Egoist is a VST, AU, RTAS and AAX 32 and 64-bit for Mac OS X and Windows. It includes bass sounds, beats and effects but you can also use your own audio files, including MP3.
Egoist uses a slicing system with a 16 pattern sequencer. You can arrange 16 slices per sample and change de attack, decay, level and pitch and even reverse them within the sequencer.
A bass line synth/sequencer is also included with 100+ vintage and electronic drum sounds, an overdrive and a low-pass filter.
You’ll also find an effect section with TapeStop, looper, reverb and filters, a Song sequencer to chain the patterns and a special Slice Keys features to play the sequencer with a keyboard.
Egoist is available for 99€ at www.sugar-bytes.de, where you will also find a trial version.
