The AMP1 was expected this month, but unexpected events delayed the manufacturing. Thomas Blug took advantage of this setback to refine its amp pedal, with new features and a better sound.
New features include the ability to fully program the gain settings and footswitch them via the Remote1 and MIDI1 devices. It will also possible to assign your favorite sounds to the three footswitches available on the AMP1.
The AMP1 is a fully analog 4-channel guitar amp with a built-in 100W Class D power amp and PowerSoak. You’ll find a Clean and three overdrive channels, each with a boost control, a reverb, a noise gate and two master volumes. 3 footswitches allow for channel, boost, reverb and bypass control, as well as the preset assignment.
The connection panel include a speaker emulated output, a headphone out, two 8 and 16 Ohm speaker outputs, an effect loop (series and parallel) and a MIDI output to connect the Blug Remote1 pedal, MIDI1 adapter or any MIDI controller.
The bad news is that the price of the pedal has raised to 699€ but if you pre-order now and until July 31st at www.bluguitar.com/AMP1.html, you get the Musikmesse special price of 649€.
