UTILIZATION

OVERALL OPINION

Used for 2 years, in parallel with a spider valve (a priori more complex but also integrating multiple effects) and a Blackstar HT20
I miss in my tests the amp mesa boogie, orange ... so must see face to face.

UTILIZATION

I love the fact of playing on a real tube amp and at the same time switch
between a Fender, a Marshall, a vox or a mesa boogie!
Nothing to say about the reverb is the premium it is beautiful!
In terms of style I play pure blues (the albert king through the Gary Moore
of Hendrix, AC / DC ...) to good rock and punchy well as the Blue Bossa well on!
A very good versatility, nothing to do with a fender hot rod deluxe
or Blackstar HT-20 (including the lack of fast definition)
and even a Peavy classic 30 has a nice clear sound, but the lead is very drafts.
To know that this amp cash fine TS9 style pedals, boss db2, wampler ...
(Waiting for the HD 500)
Very solid and very qualitative aspect, the finish is exemplary for an amp of this price.

SOUNDS

Another time the clean sound is a treat!
I use two guitars and a Strat Deluxe us a Gibson les paul standard, hum!
the sounds are very clean and clear, the guitar fit perfectly in the mix
and the bass is always delicious.
In rehearsal, I'm always surprised by the sound reproduction!
In concert, even without transplanting is a treat! for a great scene just an XLR cable
Direct output to the simulation out with HP (and it's high-end, nothing to do with the pseudo outputs found on many amps that we never use so they sound horrible, you see what I mean!)
-In the studio you would have realized there is nothing to say it's perfect!
Warning, this is a very powerful amp, it covers without the bitterest drummers problem! especially not rely on its 25 Watts!

So the DT50 did that may interest
as if the scene is too large it is automatically picked up by the sound.
-At home I'm in heaven, simply activate the output "low volume" and is about 10 watts while keeping the power and sound definition, the neighbors are happy.
10 watts in the loss of definition is very minimal, my strat still breathing while on a blackstar I can remember was that the attenuator can only interest, loss of definition too large.
I tried it with a pod HD and it's really surprising,
nothing to do with a FRFR system or a sound!
It's a real guitar amp very respectable, it is well above
of 21 tech and others.
This is the best system that have a pod hd and want to amplify it!
And purists fender vox of marshalls or mesa boogie will not be lost!
(Just the guitar and amp, and with a slight reverb sounds mythical 4,
this is Nirvana)

OVERALL OPINION

In a few months I think I have a Pod HD 500 to be freer and better manage the DT 25, and I need some effects notament a delay, and chorus.
With a pod HD and DT 25 is not far from being a very versatile perfect gear without being bulky!
HD pod am interested to take advantage of all the amp sims and some effects, even if I need a little (one clear, crunch and lead in lead marshall and super modern home for mesa boogie d other styles, the distortions are formidable efficiency. anything wrong!
The price of this amp is 789 € and I understand why, in this price range
(Between 600 and 800 € it was worth its competitors that I have long tried
although there are several that I have owned style fender hot rod deluxe, peavey classic 30, Blackstar HT-20, Marshall vintage modern ...

It was 10 years ago I was not a fan of line 6 but I realize they are visionaries and they are well advanced things (without the knowledge of some brands)
with regular updates, and when we invested in gear that is very reassuring.
In short, everything is there, this amp is very convenient, comfortable and efficient.
Unequivocally I put 10.
The sound is beautiful, both in clean drive.
