Hybrid amp (preamp with 12AX7 tube, solid-state amp)
One footswitch input, one headphones output
30 watts (real watts)
11 amp simulations
11 effects (some dual effects)
Gain, volume, treble, mid, bass, master controls
Level control to adjust the output power (see below)...
UTILIZATION
Easy to use: just select an amp model and the desired effects, set all controls at the center and start adjusting from there. The manual is clear and will help you fine tune (noise reduction, bypass, etc.)
You can get a good sound easily
SOUNDS
It's a swiss army knife: you can play almost anything. If you are a metal freak, you'd better choose the XL version.
OVERALL OPINION
I've been using it for three years. The product has been upgraded since I bought it (head + speaker cabinet, FX loop added). How does it sound? Here is a link: https://www.forum-guitare.fr/transformation-combo-vox-ad30vt-t11618.html
Only two memory locations.
The level control is a great feature: you can adjust the output power from 1 to 30 watts keeping the same gain level. This means you can play in your bedroom or with your band with the same sound.
The amp also sounds very good with a pair of headphones.
There's a new version out (VT30) so you can probably find the AD30VT for a few bucks.
Don't hesitate!
