Best value: Poor
Tube amplifier with preamp modeling at 11 legendary amp tones from the 70s to today. All directories are affordable with so many possibilities. Noted that the amp also has dozens of different effects (Delay, Chorus, Phaser, Wah-Wah, etc ...) fully configurable very significant. I have for over a year and I have not felt the need to buy any pedal, given everything he can do. A good point as well, the site http://www.valvetronix.net/ to retrieve a bunch of presets already made with examples to support, to enable beginners to find the sound they need to all panel settings.

The amp delivers 30W maximum power, but the limiting power can turn the preamp all the way (to get the best possible sound by heating) while allowing the volume control from 0 to 30W This is especially nice to play at home. More needs to be in real or predict a rehearsal to see what happens ^ ^

The connection is only two presets with the only flats I think, since there is only one input (for connecting the guitar), a single output (which is loose headset and line out) and enough to connect a pedal switch to change from one preset to another. Only two adjustable presets, which is also very little given the incredible amount of different sounds that can not get with this amp. Two bad points for AC: s

The amplifier has a gain knob, an input for the volume, one for volume output (plus one for the alleviation of power), three for traditional high / mid / bass, an amp to change , and to choose its effects. It remains to add to this a button to get in "factory settings" (the default setting for each modeled amp), another to switch to "Manual", where you can build a leisure his own, and one for passing on the two preset modes you have previously registered with the button "Write". In short, there's enough to make

UTILIZATION

Setup is extremely simple, it is even intuitive. The only caveat is that to have a good sound it's best to put the "Master" (volume output) always thoroughly and adjust the volume with the limiting power to the rear of the unit (the emergency exits are ...).

Not only do you get a good sound easy, but it gets even a lot, good sound. And in case of failure, it remains the site mentioned above for Valvetronix can always fall back on its feet
With a pedal you can switch from one preset to another (there are only two) very easily and put the bypass for the effects (blocks the selected effect), resulting in the end when you you can play up to four different settings at the bottom. It is largely too little to fully utilize the capabilities of the amp, and that's what makes him an amp for beginners, since it is impossible to really play with.
Basically, it is not practical when you want to use it in other terms as the rehearsal or exercise at home. Which earned him this little 6 because it is really crippling ...

The manual is very clear, and sufficient when taking into account the fact that in the end, it is the user to make their own adjustments. The manual takes into account the particular technical aspects such as maintenance, warranty, etc. ...

SOUNDS

The sound is very good, and power is ample for a rehearsal or a café-concert. It should really all styles of music (I have myself gone through a lot with that one).

I use this amp with a 3T Cort Stato (link to the guitar on Audiofanzine) (https://fr.audiofanzine.com/produits/avis/index 2Cidproduit%%% 2C25113% 2Cmao 2Ccort_stat3t.html) without again, and with that I do not see what I could ask for except the expensive stuff, but I'm not there yet.

For the types of sounds obtained, it is difficult to explain. I can not even say that this amp is not capable of doing. Oh yes, it does not rectify the Hi-Gain (see Triple Rectifier Mesa / Boogie, you will understand better): p
If you are a pro and you want accurate sound, you should already know what you need. Otherwise, this amp is for you!
I put 9 because the price is really great, but everything is perfectible.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over a year, and this is my first amp. But I played on many others. I've got the best sounds in styles specific to the much more expensive amps (at least twice), but none of them are able to do all the work alone, most require the addition of an effects pedal, which adds a nice sum to be taken into account in the budget!

I would do the same choice in the circumstances in which I bought this amp, that little budget, and the need to seek his style through a lot of opportunity.
Of course, it's not the amp that I would now, with experience, where I have a larger budget to spend on music, and I know better brands and equipment dedicated the style in which I move.
