Zoom Fire-30

A present for christmas, retailed at about £160 gbp. I saw it online and at the price i wanted to find out more. i tried it in the local shop and fell in love with it, it fits all music styles.

The amp has 19 effects, wich can be mixed together and the intesity can be changed and allsorts, plus you 'boost''sustain''edge'and'bottem modes are great, you can have all n at once. i also like the way you can set your own patch so you dont have to fiddle around everytime your looking for your favorite sounds, plus the zoom noise reduction(ZNR) button is great wich stops any unwanted buzzing from feedback without losing sound.

there is only 1 minor thing that i dont like about the amp, that is the ring modulator effect, its crap, and i mean awfull. But dont be put of by this because thats a minor aspect, i love the amp.



Very big for a35 watt, very loud too.only had for a short time so not took it about anywhere, but so far, so very good. sturdy and heavy (thats good)

nothin other to say than that its a great amp, ow and pluss you can get a footswitch for it which i have recently ordered, (not arrived yet) to switch channels on the amp.

SOUNDS

I love this amp for blues sounds Vintage and modern amp sounds of fuzz!
The distos are ultiliser amp simulations with modern, vintage they tend to be too aggressive.
chorus, phaser and flanger are excellent! Some effects are more anecdotal for my taste (pitch, ring mod, step).

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 8 months and I am generally satisfied!
I used a frontman 15 watt power was weak and lacked diversity.
I tried a marshall 30DFX, the simulation was too delicate and too sensitive (a simple variation of a knob entailed a sudden change of tone).

So it's a great amp complete, the finishes are impeccable, and what it spits! It could not be easier to use! In short perfect for me. The effects are gniaux, some traditional, others more unusual ... even spciaux!

UTILIZATION

The manual is clear trs trs, you understand quickly how to use the receiver effectively, potos are fluid and trs prcis, the tuner trs trs useful and effective ... a must really! The amp is the easiest to use I've seen up Submitted!
Is obtained in a short time the sound you are looking!

SOUNDS

It's perfect indeed play the blues well saturated but also works! The clean and acoustic sounds are trs prcis!
I use it with an Ibanez S470, and the fact!
Power Level: 36W it is there in the box, so trs trs powerful! And if you're afraid of rveiller the neighborhood, there is a button to reduce the power, making in fact the volume poto gnral prcis trs, ideal when ds is her room!
As I said dj, this amp is for games and other distortion drives!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for less than a month, but I had time dj to see what was in the belly! It's not the bomb this amp, it's worse! Super easy to use, great power, great precision, a must see! Some may parraitre srieusement too strange to play but they have at least MRIT to be unique! (Ngatif one point I found yet!)

UTILIZATION

The configuration is simple effects despite some hard to solve
This gives her a transistor not bad but for me it's not worth other modeling amp like the Vox Valvetronix
The manual is quite clear even if I only fly over
You have to be objective, you can not put 10 in this amp as it would to a mesa 10

SOUNDS

It is not suitable for the metal or else it must be put to the bottom! 3 The crunch of this amp is not bad but not great. The distortion "fuzz" is my favorite. There are some cool effects.
I played it with a Fender Stratocaster Mexico. This is modeling so there is no sound unique to this amp

OVERALL OPINION

I used it for 3 years is a good amp to start electric guitar.
I liked the distos cons of this amp for clean sounds I hate. I have not tried other amps before buying it and now I play in a band, I bought a mesa boogie 50Watts all lamps (f50) and it is day and night.
The price / quality ratio is good if you find a OCCAZ.
With experience, I would rather buy a vox modeling
